Jr High Championships: Feb 1

This race is for all 6th-9th graders! (Except 9th graders racing at sections)

Location: Forest View Middle School, Brainerd

10:00   Girls Classic Ski

10:40   Boys Classic Ski

11:45     Fun Event Skiing

1:00     Girls Skate Race

1:40     Boys Skate Race

2:30     Sprint Races

3:20    Awards

Format: Classic and Freestyle races will be interval starts of 4 skiers per 15 seconds with a double pole start across a field.

Distance: Approximately 4 km classic and 4 km freestyle races on the same course.

Awards: Ribbons will be awarded to boys and girls 1st through 7th place for 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th grades in skate and classic. Edible prizes for the sprint races. 

Amenities: Indoor restrooms and concessions inside the Middle School
