GRC Championship Meet

GRANITE RIDGE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP

Date:  Tuesday Jan 31, 2017
Location:  Riverside Park or the Prison trails in St Cloud (TBD)
Teams:  Mora, St. Cloud Cathedral, St John's Prep, Little Falls
Format: Varsity Pursuit to help us better prepare for the Section meets
Awards:  Top 10 skiers in Varsity Pursuit-All Conference; next 4-Honerable Mention.  A team trophy will be presented.
Scoring:  Top 4 finishers with 5th skier used as a tie-breaker.

Between the Pursuit races there will be a JV Boys and JV Girls 5K Skate race.  Top 10 finishers will receive ribbons at the finish.  There will be no published results for the JV races as this meet is a Conference Varsity competition.

Schedule:
10:30   Varsity Boys 5K Classic.  Interval Starts (2 every 30)
11:15     Varsity Girls 5K Classic.  Interval Starts (2 every 30)
12:00    JV Boys 5K Skate
12:45     JV Girls 5K Skate
1:30      Varsity Boys 5K Freestyle Pursuit (Start based on classic finish)
2:15       Varsity Girls 5K Freestyle Pursuit (Start based on classic finish)
3:15       Awards
