Ski Season is one week away!

The 70 degree days were nice but it's time to move on....ski season starts next week.

Monday, Nov 14th -  First day of practice for High School skiers
Tuesday Nov 15th - First day of practice for Middle School skiers
Thursday Nov 17th - Parent/Athlete meeting at 5:30 (HS Commons)

Reminder that Ski Swaps are also happening this weekend.
Saturday, Nov 12th - Forestview MS, Brainerd from 9:00 - noon
Sunday, Nov 13th - Halenbeck Hall, SCSU from noon - 3:00

Nordic Kickoff Meeting: Nov. 17

This is a save-the-date for the Nordic Parent/Athlete Meeting:  Thursday, November 17 at 5:30.  In the past, it's been held in the HS commons, but the kids will bring home the details that week, or we'll post again on the blog as a reminder with the location added.

**Nordic practice will start on Monday, November 14th**

The state coach's meeting was held Saturday at Vasaloppet, with a format change for the state meet discussed, but no decision made.  Notes are available on SkinnySki.

Pre-Season Parent Meeting

Nordic season starts in about a month so we're scheduling a pre-season meeting for this Wednesday (Oct 12) at 6:30 at Cabin Fever.  All ski parents are invited so please pass this info on to anyone who might not be getting ski emails or blog updates.  Some agenda items are:

Meals on wax nights
Fundraising
Status of new uniforms/capes
Home meets (?)
Apparel Order

Coborns Brat Sale Fundraiser

We had another nice day for Brat Sales at Coborns yesterday.  Between the 2 Saturdays, we made almost $100 in tips and we'll find out at the end of this week how much we made for the actual sale.  Thanks a lot to the skiers and parents who volunteered to work!!
